Collaboratory Podcast launch – exploring co-creativity in action

Earlier this week we joined the official launch of Collaboratory, a podcast that explores the concepts, enablers and applications of collaboration, co-creation, and co-creativity. Hosted by Dr Maya Haviland and Nicole Deen, the podcast engages practitioners across diverse disciplines to discuss their experiences, issues and approaches to co-creation and collaboration across cultures, communities and organisations.

Last year, our Regional Manager, Doyen Radcliffe, and Impact and Strategy GM, Sharon Babyack, were interviewed as part of the Collaboratory Podcast. Among many things, they enjoyed yarning about the values and principles that guide our work; our approach to working with First Nations’ communities; and examples of co-design and co-creation in practice.

Reflecting on the experience, Doyen said “being part of Collaboratory provided a great opportunity to yarn about how we do codesign in practice, particularly the importance of ensuring First Nations’ people have and maintain ownership and control of their community development activities”.

The online event featured a short panel discussion with three podcast guests, Professor Kim Cunio, Rebecca McNaught and Dimitrios Papalexis, who talked about 'Co-creative skills for the future' from their unique perspectives. The launch coincided with the release of the first three episodes.
