HIKE LARAPINTA FOR COMMUNITY FIRST DEVELOPMENT!
Following Community First Development’s highly successful 2022 Larapinta trek, we are delighted to announce that in partnership with 100% Adventure, we are offering the opportunity to trek a section of the Larapinta trail in 2023.
The trek dates are Monday 7th to Sunday 13th August 2023.
Participants had this to say about last year's trek:
My eyes and mind were opened by the experience of being in this Country, and by the conversations and contributions with First Nations’ people. I had no idea of the range and number of businesses that Indigenous people are involved with.
It was wonderful to have the firsthand knowledge of local First Nations’ people. I learnt a lot and still have a lot to learn. Being out on Country, hearing these stories made such a significant impact. I wish we had more time to hear and learn more.
I was blown away by the passion of the Community First Development Team. They are truly there as a labour of love, and it shines through.
When you join us on this fundraising trek, you will be supporting the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities we work with to access expertise and opportunities to achieve transformative goals across many areas, including economic, education, governance, environmental protection, and health.
